Founded in 1994 in Xiangtan as a supplier of machinery, industrial parts and service, Xiangtan Electric Locomotive Factory Co., Ltd. has evolved to become a well known manufacturer under the trademark SHAOLI of machinery and service for, tunneling, mining and related industries.
We are now one of the top manufacturers of narrow gauge electric locomotives in China. In the year of 2011, we have produced nearly one thousand sets of locomotives. On the other hand, we are the only company in this field which have own department to produce the matching electric motors and batteries.
At present, there are locomotives in operation ranging in size from 1.5 to 30 tons which are at work in over 20 countries.
Quality management:
All of our mining locomotives for subterranean mines have MA certifications (safety certification for mining products). In the meanwhile, we were certified by ISO9001: 2000 in 2005 and ISO9001: 2008 in 2009.

We have the proprietary technology for IGBT stepless speed regulating system, pure hydraulic drive system, AC variable-frequency governor and other leading technology.
Locomotives are designed to accomodate customer requirements for tunneling, mining and other operations.
