We are a govt organization under the ministry of health.
Our primary mandate is to manufacture traditional medicines for the ministry of health who distributes them to the people free of cost. We manufacture 103 different traditional medicines in various dosage forms including pills, capsules, tablets, ointment, syrup, paste, powder.
Besides, we also manufacture over 20 other herbal products for commercial marketing & distribution. These include herbal teas, incense sticks & powder, health promoting capsules.
All our products are based on the ancient Buddhist system of medicine known as so-wa rig-pa (also Tibetan medicine). This tradition is very much a part of Bhutans culture and heritage.
We source a majority of our ingredients from within Bhutan. They are as pure and natural as it can get because they are collected from the wild Himalayas.
Also, we do not add any chemicals or other additives in our products.
