Goodlife (M) Sdn. Bhd. was founded in 1979 by two entrepreneurs, Gordon Tham Cham Sooi and Ong Chee Tat, to distribute automotive products, which included Hitachi Power Window, electric ignition systems, and other auto-accessories. Within a couple of years, other innovative products like Perma Glass (USA) , Justice Brothers range (USA) , Rain-X (USA) and Power Plus range (Australia) were added to the distribution group. In 1991, Goodlife (M) Sdn. Bhd. undertook Black & Decker (USA) and the following year, began contract manufacturing under the licensing agreement with Principals. The next year, Stoplock, the steering wheel immobilizer from the UK was added and since then Goodlife is the sole distributor of Stoplock in Malaysia. Within the next three years, Goodlife (M) Sdn. Bhd. began the development of the manufacturing activities.
Today, Goodlife (M) Sdn. Bhd. has branched out into manufacturing under Goodlife Industries (M) Sdn Bhd, which is a fully owned operative manufacturing plant with an up to date equipped and manned Research & Development (R& D) laboratory and Quality Assurance facilities. Here, Goodlife (M) Sdn. Bhd. is well positioned to manufacture a wide range of consumer chemical products.
