Bilz Information and Technology Services (BITS) is the Information and Engineering services arm of BILZ Werkzeugfabrik, a wholly owned subsidiary of the Leitz Metalworking Technology (LMT) Group. LMT is a world leader in the manufacture of machine tool ancillary equipment and consists of 6 companies with 20 manufacturing plants worldwide - in addition to Bilz ITS.
History:
Bilz ITS traces its origins to the IT division of Otto Bilz India. Based on the success of initial projects undertaken to automate various functions in the plant, it was decided to set up a separate IT company to service the whole group and accordingly, Bilz Toolings was established, in Dec 2003. This eventually evolved into Bilz ITS Pvt Ltd., with a vision to make it a technology hub for the LMT group, as well as offering our expertise in engineering IT solutions & services to other companies. In the four years of our existence, we have produced some innovative proprietary software systems that could be of great value to companies, especially in the manufacturing industry. We offer our expertise in design and development of information systems to assist our clients to evolve in tune with the demands of the knowledge economy.
