Eventually, single-use plastic pollution leads to choking, entanglement, and even death of over a million sea creatures every year.
But, there's more. When it's finally time for these plastic pollution pieces to break down, they still don't go away. These plastic pieces further break down into microplastics that always enter our food chain. In short, we end up eating the plastic trash we dispose of.
